the service center.
Mary:How much does it cost per month for parking?
Chen:For a multi-storey garage, the parking fee is ¥250 per month; for ground
parking, it is ¥110 per month.
Mary:These days I paid fees for the temporary parking. Can the charges be refunded
if I apply for a monthly card?
Chen:We have relevant regulations on application of new monthly parking cards, and
will collect expenses from the day of your application.

(On Sunday noon, Chen, a staff member from the service center found that there
was a heavy gas smell coming from Mary's house, 11K. He suspects it's the gas
leaking, therefore he knocked the door at once.)
Chen: Is there anybody home?
(There was no answer. Chen dialed the owner's telephone.)
Chen: Hello! I am Chen from the service center. Is there anyone at your home now? We think that there is gas leaking at your home now.
Mary: Oh, my God! There is nobody at home now. I forgot to turn off the gas
switch. I am in the parking lot and will be back soon.
(3 minutes later, Mary went back home. She turned off the gas main valve. At the
same time, Chen contacted the gas company for inspection. After checking, it was
the gas pipe's ageing that caused the leakage.)
Chen: Please do remember to turn off the gas main valve after use. The leakage
could have serious consequences.
Mary: Thanks for your reminding.
Chen: You're welcome.
